Hope you can keep an eye on craigslist dot com for the front stand, maybe haggle out a decent deal, best thing I ever did was get lifts I use em all the time.

I put mine up on both front and back stand. I think they are worth it as you can work on bike, clean tires easier, more sturdy when up and great for winter storage. I recommend both if ya got the greens:) What I don't like about FZ6R is no spools to have that confident lift and hang.
