Joe Rocket makes an expandable tail bag that holds helmets very easily. With carefull planning you can pack enough clothes into it for a 3 day outing. (Jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, toiletries etc).

Try going to a track riding school when the weather permits. You'll learn an absolute ton about riding, and it's a perfect place to get your confidence back under the guidance of a professional instructor. Everyone's going the same direction, no oncoming left turning douchebags etc.

It's nice, but be forewarned - the Contour series has next to useless sound quality. Anything over 40 mph and all you hear is HIISSSSSS from the wind noise. Tried it in the waterproof casing, no better. I've got both the GoPro 1080 and the Contour Roam - use the Roam on the helmet or facing...

Instead of replacing the tank, simply bondo it up (if and only if it's not leaking at the creases etc), sand it so the curves match the other side and repaint. Your bike is gloss black, so it's an easy match with the paint.

You can bondo up the tank and repaint it instead of trying to get it fixed by a body shop etc. Save you TONS of money that way. Otherwise, a tank will no doubt be $350+ at a wrecker.

Before hitting a track day on your own, I strongly recommend taking a school track day first. You'll learn *TONS* - so much you can't put it all into your bag of tricks all at once. Spend the extra money and get a rental bike so you're not worried about dumping it as much, and you won't have to...
