question for marthy or anyone else that might know...is there any benefit to using premium octane fuel with exhaust, pcv, and adv rev b map?

Premium fuels only really an advantage if you raise the compression or advance the timing. Our bike doesn't have a knock sensor to advance the timing so no real benefit.

Hey Guys,

Since putting on my TB & PCV my fuel economy feels like its almost halved without putting it through its paces and taking it easy. I'm only getting max 180km's to a tank if im lucky :(

I was just wondering if anyone still has map REVD for me to try and see what results I can acheive?

Thanks in advance :)

Recently purchased a fz6r with the power commander v, full 2brothers exhaust and a k&n filter..
Seems to be running rich as hell lol
Pops thousands of blue flames which is kindve cool but my fuel economy is pathetic lol..
Marthy Seems to be the guru on this forum very keen for a tune for my new toy

I believe I have the adv gear Rev b map, but that's the only one I have that would work with your setup. You have to hook up the speed sensor wire to use that map. It's super easy while you're in there hooking everything up. I have to work tomorrow, but I'll look on my old laptop for the file. I don't use that map anymore, because of upgraded cams.

Thanks Scott!

I was looking over the pcv installation instructions: "Speed input - PINK wire of 3 pin WHITE connector under fuel tank. Speed sensor is located on the engine case near the front sprocket cover."

Doesn't seem too hard.

Ultimately I'd like to get Autotune set up, but I'm not ready for all that yet.

Thanks again for your help!

If Scott can't find it, I know that I have a copy of it too.

Hi Marthy

I am in Australia and was wanting to know about a good performance map.

Ive been told ADV GEAR REV B map is what i need.

I dont mind about how much fuel it uses. I just want maximum power.

I have a 2014 fz6r with 2 Bros Exhaust, K&N filter, Block off plates, and Power commander V. Also have the speed sensor connected

I was told that the map should be changed throughout the rev range -4% for Australian conditons.

Is that needed and if so, do you have those maps.

OR>.......... Can i just put the ADV GEAR REV B map you have listed on and enjoy.

Hey Guys, which one of these maps do I download to my PC fuel controller? I just have Marthy's Delkevic slip on exhaust, and then also installed block off plates. Just looking to get rid of the 'running lean' issue and maybe gets some more power from the map.

Just an update - I don't have a PCV so I can't run the Advgear RevB map but I do have the PCFC and am running Marthy's Sport Map. All I can say is that it makes me happy! Thanks Marthy!
