Today I finished the hidden turn signals in the fake ram air intakes. I also found out that an almost dead battery will make the engine bog down and run like crap when juicing the throttle in the garage.

Opinions Please

Hi Guys,

This is my first post here I only just bought a fz6r 2012 and got it for a bargain

So Far things done to her:

Restricted plate removed and homemade fender eliminator.

Please tell me what you think of it be honest interested in your opinions guys.

I'm interested in what you think of the looks, length, spacing, height, indicator position and location.

Reason being it’s raining like hell at the moment and have not had a chance to take her out for a ride since doing this and hoping she won’t touch any place with the Tyre.

I'm sure its fine as myself an another person sitting on her still leaves about an 1.5 to 2 inches clearance from the number plate to the tyre but just interested in your thoughts on my efforts.

when i get home from work ill give her a bit of a bend i think.

About another 1-1.5cm should be good you think

Well between yesterday and today I:
-160 miles yesterday morning
-Changed spark plugs
-Cleaned and oiled K&N air filter.
-Changed oil and filter
-Flushed cooling system and added Engine Ice (instead of Water Wetter)
-Thorough chain clean and lube
-Wash
-Wax

I'll take her out for a ride next weekend to make sure everything is all smooth and running right, then get all my touring stuff put on and get her ready for our Utah trip.

I RODE! Second day in gosh, more months than I care to remember. A few days ago I finally got to order a rear PR4. Dropped the rear wheel, took it to a place to change the tire.

Replaced the wheel on the bike, upped the pressure. Then a WASH, and fresh gasoline. She cranked right up, rode like a frikkin champ and I'm back on my Tora Tanshi.

All these months and when I tossed a leg over her, it was just as natural as opening my eyes. The only hard part was actually stopping to go to work, lol.

WE are back!

Two days off in a row! Did what I had to today. I wake in the morning to make my Rockingham run.

It's been a very long time. Plus, I've just learned the joy of running the 6R at 8K rpm before shift.

My Tora Tanshi likes it that way. That changes everything.

I've been keeping my tach at about 8k and shifting around 9-10k. Getting great mileage too, about 47mpg with Viper exhaust and pcv (Marthy adv gear Rev b). Love the roll on power when your in the upper range.
