It's like they had a convention with the question: How can we make our bikes any slower?

Made in India, and half the horsepower of a Sportster (52 / 2 =26), wow, now that is some horsepower right? NOT !
Man have to get one and sell the FZ6R! ROFL, LSHMMSH

Wait, so the guys on a "sport" bike forum don't like the new Harleys? That's a big surprise.

Come on guys, get over yourselves. You are obviously not the target audiences. They will likely get more people into motorcycling at a younger age who will grow up and into a bigger bikes. More motorcyclists = better, IMO. I know a lot of women who really enjoy being in the HOG, but can't find a bike small enough for them to ride. There's a lot of comraderie in Harley land, and if the owners like 'em, what's it to you? :zombie:

that plus HD needed a new trainer bike for the Riders Edge program (now HD Riding Academy) after they dumped Buell a couple of years ago. The 500 fits the bill. I am looking forward to using these in the HD program, they will be a lot better then the Blast. The 750 should be a great entry bike for the first time Harley riders.

Looks like a Honda Shadow...

It may look like a shadow but I bet you it will require a lot more maintenance, a lot more cost and not last as long :)

I like cruisers too, I have one (Suzuki) but I just don't get the pay double for the same kind of bike mentality that goes with Harley, or paying twice as much for an iphone either and look how many have those POS. lol

Agreed. Oh, and the XJ6/FZ6R is not a sport bike. It is a capable small capacity commuter.

Yamaha classifies it as a super sport believe it or not. I think regular sport is the most apt. description. When I think of supersport I think of laying on the tank even though that's not the defining criteria.
