j/k, I agree with most people here. I grew up in a "bike" family, so no problems of that sort, but my wife's Mother-in-law had to breathe in to a paper bag for a week when I told her my wife gets on the back of my bike. She came around eventually, now that she knows I'm not out on the streets running from the cops and racing everything on 2 wheels. Just be patient and sensitive to their concerns, and, most importantly, show them by example that you are a safe, careful, and conscientious rider.
