I've been trying to do the whole, "If you've got nothing nice to say, than say nothing at all" thing. But Dude! Holy heck, what are you thinking??!!

I'm sorry man, but to me personally, that's horrible. Why would you want to place a large container that far above your center of gravity? Nobody did, but if you ask me, that's just asking for trouble.

I'm going to give you my honest opinion, because I hope you're adult enough to appreciate it and not get all bent-ass over it:

I honestly think it looks horrible and would be a danger when riding. I say this not because I want to bust on you, but solely because that's how I see it.

I've got to assume when you posted pics up, you wanted honest answers. My honest answer is that I think it looks bad and could even be dangerous.

It's just my 2c, but there it is.
Oh dude you made me cry, I kicked the cat and beat the dog, all because of your remark. :D
It is not like you can place enough items in there to weight down or cause a weight shift. I know Marthy showed pics of his with it used as a cooler and packed a few brews in it, but not something I would try and ride around with.
Funny I have gotten several compliments from strangers of how they like it.
I think the bike looks good in either a Sport Bike stance or Sport Touring configuration.
I however believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion, freedom of speech, it does not offend me that you do not like it, your boat, float it any way you wish.

I ride almost *all* the time with this. It's a 33 liter top case, and quite honestly it *disappears* back there. I feel nothing different at all when riding (and I've taken it on some hard, twisty rides, as well as on 90mph rides down 400, here in Atlanta -- absolutely no effect, wind buffeting or otherwise).

I actually prefer the top case to saddlebags, because of clearance issues, when cornering (I get that thing leaned over quite a bit -- already worn down the sliders on one side of my SMX-5 boots).

That having been said, I simply *like* the look without the luggage better. However, the thing is SO handy (like anything else, you don't take it for granted til it's there all the time). So, I've installed a Givi Tanklok tank bag (T498, I believe). Works great, and replaces the top case when I'm traveling light.

I'm not sure I'd go bigger than 33 liter, and mine uses the Yamaha OEM rack (which is a SHAD), which doesn't seem to elevate the top case as high as on the OP's bike. But, as luggage goes... I'm an advocate of the top case.

I elevated it to make certain the brake light was visible to drivers following (small case would not need this but a larger extends further out), I do think it should be a tad lower though. Experimentation.
Just wanted to add, when I say I ride a motorcycle I mean my wife and I will go shopping on a Saturday or Sunday and use the bikes as if they were cars and carry our purchased items (she has saddle bags on her cruiser). We got the extra large ones and we figured out that we can partition the case and make nice little carry compartments.
Like BKP said, never notice it is there.

33Liter? Hmm Can you please take a shot of the bike from the rear showing how wide it looks?

I had a order for a 50 Liter box from Twisted Throttle but I canceled it after it took too long to get and other things came up as needs instead. But I want to do this before next season. I think I could end up going between the 38L or the 50L again. Only thing though is the 50 looked kinda big (though liked the capacity) as the Cycle Show in the winter, but thought it might look too big on a bike the size of the 6R. I might consider stepping down to the 38 on next order instead.

Also, what rack is that? Looks good!
Here you go:

Where did you get that seat cover?
I'm assuming you're talking about the sheepskin.

It's a sheepskin buttpad from Alaska Leather Online.
Medium natural color, Pillion 1 sizing.

There you go, tiny case almost hides the brake light. I have a low rack like the one you have and brake light can get hidden easily. Think of a guy in a diesel truck, oops didn't see you stop.

I actually agree with you, that someone up high, as in a semi, is going to have issues seeing the brake light...

However, at night, I have a flashing reflector that I strap to the top case itself... It's not a brake light, but, you can't miss it. And, that's only if I'm carrying the top case at night (it snaps on and off so easily, that unless I know I'm going to pick something up, I take it off for night riding).

Another option is getting the top case with the built in brake lights. I know SHAD makes it, and so does GIVI in a few of their Monolock models:
