My journey to a blacked out FZ6R is becoming boring...

Should I go with this scheme?

Well guys the more I get into this journey of a completely black FZ6R, the more i'm beginning to realize how boring its making the bike look.

Theres just nothing to it. It doesn't pop out, like I thought it would, as I've NEVER seen a Completely black, no silver or any other color bike (around here anyway).

This is the bike in its current state: (Only thing you can't see is the intergrated tail, but you guys know what that looks like)

Sadly though this isn't the case, yes I still love my bike in current state, but I need some more "Pazazz" if you will.

So here comes the new scheme and you guys tell me what you think!

Mod list be this after i'm done:

Removed Lower yamaha decals
Fender Eliminator
CF Tank Pad
Silver Pazzo Look Alike Shorty levers
Yamaha DB Smoke Windscreen
5000k HID's
t-rex racing no cut frame sliders
Intergrated Smoked Tail Light
Mini Grenade Valve Caps (in gold instead of the silver I have now)
R6S Mirrors
Ebay R6 Smoked Flush Mounts
Apex Riser Clip Ons
Plastidipped black forks/pegs/gear lever/rear brake lever
Rizoma Gold Billet Grips
Ebay Gold Shorty Clutch Lever
Ebay Gold Long Brake Lever
MFW Vario Footpegs (Black pegs and extension arms)
Removed Front Reflectors
Painted Gold Calipers
Gold FZ6R Decals
Gold Bar Ends

I think it will be a nice suttle touch of gold to really bring the bike back out of hiding!

What do you guys think?

I think... and you should know by now, gotta see what you're starting with

:needpics:

:D:D:D:D:D

Seriously... all black with some highlights in gold will look good... Chad's came out really good with the black/blue. All black is usually reserved for street fighters.... 'cause flat black is easy to do @ home. :)

I'll try and get some pics this evening if It decides to be nice and not rain on me :) lol

Actually found a picture that I could cut form another pic I had, added it to the OP

I like the sound of a black bike with gold trim. I saw this stuff the other day, and it might be something to play with. Reflective Pin Striping

Nah man, thats not for me.

I'm a man that goes for as clean as it can get, while still standing out over the rest.

Simple Decals, some gold paint, and some grips /levers is suttle, but will still draw a ton of attention to the bike!

Chrome baby....lots of it like the cruisers have....:)

I think gold rims would really set if off. Here is a 2010 raven FZ1 for an idea. I would go the color of the 08 FZ1 rims if it were me though. Just a thought. Second pic of a 08 FZ1

Painting the rims is just not an option i'm willing to deal with on the bike.

Calipers and small stuff like that are simple.

If you do go with some color anywhere, painting the calipers would set off the bike really well imo. It's something i've wanted to do to the 6r and my car but just never have.

How about something like this, IMHO it would look great with gold wheels
