Well major props to Dave for taking the time to post all these pictures.

Thanks to everyone who made an effort to snap photos, get video, give up ther chair, dial in air pressue, time our laps, help load and unload the bikes, assist with logistics, open up their house, cook food, and a whole mess of other little things that add up. Probably the best time I've had at the track yet....great weekend all around.

Definitely want to see y'all again and can't wait to hit Willow again!

Fantastic shots guys. Y'all are some fast mofos. Nate, it was good meeting you before you guys took off, will definitely hit you up when I'm in SF in a few weeks.

Wish I could have gone, but you guys know the story. In other news, the "situation" at work has been "resolved" as of about 8:30am Tuesday morning! :spank: :ban: :D

Whoever took that shot (John?) with the Willow Springs sign in the foreground, that was brilliant!

Finally some time to post up!

First of all I'd like to thank John (Cali Rider) for his usual awesome-ness :) thanks for the trailer, help, for taking all the amazing pics, mental support, and invaluable riding advice... etc etc...

Louis (Oso), I have close friends that would not welcome me (us) like you did... simply perfect! From the food, to the accommodations, to the camaradery, I had a grea time. I don't know how many ppl would wake up at 5am to prepare breakfast (and a good one too!) for a group of riding buddies!!! Thank you!!! I will see you soon ;)

Nate, I am glad to have finally met you in person... to many more just like that one bro! (well, minus the little incident... :spank:)
Streets of Willow in June?

Pete, I had imagined you racing with perfect form and smooth throttle control, and I had the chance to see it happen right in front of me! I still can't believe you drove half way across the country to come have fun with us... awesome! Great to meet you and Rachel, and I sincerely hope to ride/race with you again.

Dr Rob, thanks for making sure I was ok after the crash

About the crash, I am not sure what happened, it was the third or fourth session in the day, 3 laps in, andit happened while coming out of 4b... I am looking good through the apex (pics on the link above), and its only when coming out of the turn, in what I thought was the same line I had taken earlier, the rear went out from under me... I either applied too much throttle (don't think so), or my tire hit something... who knows, I am just happy the bike is fine.
I felt great during the 3 sessions I had on the track, and felt in control and within my limits... I was smooth and confident, and my times were awesome for me. Wish I could have kept going!!

It was definitely my best trackday ever (my 3rd overall :D), both in terms of the riding, and the time spent with great great people. Driving home (oh thanks for that too John :)), through Angeles Crest Highway, hitting almost no traffic at all, I realized I am a very lucky soab!

I just got home, what a week!

I can't thank everyone enough for all of the help and friendship, it made every I-10 mile worth it!

I'll try to get some on board video posted this weekend if I can get caught up on house hold and kid activities.

Oh and I have video of me in the top photo getting totally smoked by the guy with the numbers on his bike as we go into 5, like I was standing still! Just when I thought I had the omega turn figured out!

Looks like Pete had the Go Pro mounted on the front of the bike from one of the pics so yes, we are waiting. :cheer:

I have about 50 minutes of footage. I'll need to edit it down. There is a section when the guy from Roadracing World.com smokes my ass on 7. I bet he had 20+ mph on me going into 8a.

I don't have the b@lls I used to have as a youngster.

Pete, I still am that young and still don't have the b@lls, so no worries:thumbup:

Welcome back home Pete! Can't wait to see the video.

Great day indeed... what do you think of all the pics above? John kicked ass didnt he? Some of the shots of you on the Buell are poster like as Kenny mentioned.
