So I got that out of the way early. :D

Coming through my development, need to make a left to get to my units. The mail van is blocking the right lane and a car is coming out the other way. So I stop to let the car out. I go to start to take the left, start to move, start to turn, and it stalls ...and falls. I was in second, not first. Freakin' newb.

The TRex sliders just paid for themselves. I couldn't find a mark anywhere else on the bike. I do need to take a closer look though

Didn't think of the mirror. I'll check that, the "intake", and the bar end too. It was super slow and I tried to stop it, but to no avail. :) I think the only person who seen it was the mail lady, but it was still embarrassing.

Oh yeah, the freakin bike is heavy to pick up too.

Happens to the best of us. I've been riding 45 years on the street and I pulled the same stunt at a stop sign. I was able to catch it and hold it to get it back up. Groin muscles paid the price though. Ride safe!

Tiny, and I mean tiny, scuff on the mirror and the very end of the clutch handle. That and the slider is it for damage. I am a very happy camper. And I didn't let it freak me out, hopped right back on after lunch and took off. :)

Don't feel too bad, I park my bike on my back patio when I know I'm not going to ride for a few days and try and suck it up against my sliding glass door. In doing so I let the bike go a little too far, luckily it's a double pane window.

It happens to all of us- esp in the beginning. Sorry for the drop but good to know u r ok and the damage was minimal. Rock on! :)

YIKES!!! I think my wife would kill me if I did that, and I would have to kick my own butt!! LOL expensive mistake! Sorry to "see" this!

I got rid of the wife for a little freedom and yeah I kicked myself for that one.

And, therein (as has been shouted from this forum's battlements) is where frame sliders shine...

Glad to hear you've been deflowered with very, very little fuss (and no expense)...

Rich007... I have no words...
