Just picked up my yamaha center stand and doesn't have any installation instructions. Anybody get this yet. I will email yamaha

Thanks I did see the mono tech version.
Unfortunately mine is an oem Canadian version from yamaha. My brackets seem different.

How much was the stand?
I wouldn't think they are much different as the mounting point on the bikes are all the exact same in any country. You can still follow the write up and see if it works for you. Do you have a picture of the stand and all the hardware?

Totally forgot about the stand and forgot to call yamaha.
I just took this pic as you can see lots of parts in bags with no instructions.
The bottom of the stand looks different from the mono tech one.
The hardware looks high end though. Bolts already come with lock tight stuff.
Bushings are heavy polished.
Being in canada I think it would have cost me same to get mono tech with shipping.
Dealer gives me discount I think $130.
Here's pic of my parts jumble.
I will post in mod section once installed hopefully this weekend.

The OEM center stand looks similar with the SW-Motech Stand I got, I'm sure the installation is almost the same, considering the SW-Motech stand mounts on the Yamaha OEM brackets.... Take some pics and keep us updated, I'm looking forward for your feedback on this.

Gets the rear wheel off the ground without the need for a separate rear stand, and it also stands the bike straight up which is nice in a garage type setting where space could be a little tight.Still very new to the motorcycle world.
Some bikes have a center stand, some don't. It's a 2nd stand underneath the bike and is even more sturdy than the side stand if you park it.Still very new to the motorcycle world.
Now it's easy to do maintenance on the bike because the rear and the front is off the ground, instead of buying a rear stand.
Drawbacks of it is a little extra weight on the bike, if you get an after-market exhaust for the FZ6-R I don't think you can use it.
It's kind of hard to use on but once you get the hang of it it's easier.

It is a piece of equipment that should have come with the bike which you would take off after you drag into the asphalt when you get really good at cornering.Still very new to the motorcycle world.

If you got the Leo Vince, it would still work, because it was designed for the Diversion, with the stock center stand...

Update.
Had a chance to call Yamaha.
They don't have instructions available for this kit?

Yamaha is going to send me a sketch via email.
I hopefully will get a chance to install tommorow.
Looking at the other motech stand it seems square in the picture. The yamaha has more curves so I hope this thing fits.
Seems like I'm going to be the test case so I'm planning on taking some pics for whoever is interested.
