Wheel white strip

Do those white stripes around our rips act like a reflecter? Or, are people going over the white paint with reflective tape?

Depends on the tape that you get.
I got mine from Tapeworks and it is a reflective blue tape. If you want reflective I would check out Welcome to www.tapeworks.com the premier aftermarket design source for motorcycle graphics and decals on the web.
They have a nice selection of colors and reflective or not.

Yeppers! Thats why I paid my dealer $10 to do it for me when I had them do my winterization and full clean up in November of my first year owning the bike!

-I know, my dealer has NICE prices! LOL

I don't think the stock white stripes on our wheels are reflective. You would need the tape for that.
