And GT as in mustang stands for:

Grand Torino! Well it did in the late 60's. I think even Ford forgot that one.
Actually, its Gran Turismo (or Grand Touring) when referring to cars with "GT" in them (i.e. GTO = Gran Tourismo Omlogato GTi = Gran Tourismo injection).

The Ford Gran Torino was a car built between 1972-1976. And, Gran Torino was also a recent Clint Eastwood movie.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a car guy and have owned/own a few Mustangs (65, 84, 93) and a 66 Pontiac GTO.

I worry about that crap all the time. When I'm driving my big, black 4x4 truck - there are lots of ppl that 'dont see me' and cut me off... Always remember, having the right of way on a bike doesn't mean a thing... well, they may put "...had the right of way" on your tombstone, but that's it!
