It's the air intake (which is kind of ironic, since it's not actually an air intake). I go to bikebandit to look up parts:

Fake ram air duct. I'm sure it's not officially listed that way. May be listed as ram air duct.
Before you spend the $45 or so to buy it (I bought the same part myself this spring to fix a booboo from where I dropped mine), try taking it apart and reassembling it. Once the screws are out and you have it off the bike you might be able to get it to pop back in place.

Its not broken, one of the snaps inside is just bent. You need to remove the painted black fairing then unscrew the fake air duct and straighten the piece.
I agree with flyingminno after looking at the pic closer. If you can get it back in no point in replacing it now. May not be the only drop if you know what I mean.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you drop it and hit the ram air duct and nothing else? Did the bike land against something?

actually there was a bit more damage not seen in the pics.. small damage to mirror, bent front brake lever, scuffs on the handle bar, some minor scratches to the fairings (all on the right side).
I was coming up a hill to the end of the road where i was taking a right, a car came around the bend at a high speed which caused me to stop midway into a slow turn on a incline, bike somehow got away and there was nothing i could do

And that's why frame sliders are worth every penny.
Sliders were my first mod along with my fender eliminator.
