I'm thinking of messing with my accel pump settings now too. Gotta put the dB killer in tomorrow for inspection. Not sure if they'll like the open viper can.

Lol I don't think they will haha. Man I'm glad we don't have inspections here. None of my vehicles would pass. Everything straight piped, loud and custom tuned lol
i have a 2009 yamaha fz6r replaced the stock exhaust with two brothers full exhaust last year was running a little rich so i got the juice box this year with the k&n air filter i set it all up on map 2 but wasnt sure what i should set the fuel trims at if anyone can help thanks alot
Went out for a quick ride to get my bike inspected. I was a little worried that they'd have problems with my LED strips in the scoops because they are bright white (didn't have them last inspection). They wouldn't pass me last year because they didn't like the frontal visibility of the flushmounts so I bought ZX6R integrated mirrors. I hated them, but they passed it and then took them off and added the strips. I also added the HID after last inspection. I kept hearing them talk about my low/high beam. They didn't say anything to me and they passed it. So at least now I'm legal again.
Got Michelin PR 4s installed Might have to get DOT approved rear signals though for inspection. Wouldn't pass it today, but since I have thru May they didn't give me a failed sticker. But the owner came out when I was leaving and told me where to go haha

Well that sucks. I was worried about my lights and strips as well for inspection. I just went today. Did you replace signals with strips or just add them in addition to? I don't see why they'd care if you added them in addition to the regular signals. I thought I'd get hassled over blue angel eye, which is legal in PA, but not everyone knows it. Hope you get it passed soon. I know VA is a ***** with inspection.
The second shop I went to last year passed me, but that agile closed over the winter. They only questioned my real signals. Said the spacing and lightning was ok, but the signal housing isn't DOT approved. I'll try the place he recommended in early may. If it still doesn't pass I'll look for new signals

Sucks to have to worry each year. I'd have flipped if the didn't pass my headlight. I like the place I go, but no way I'd go back to stock. I'd find another shop. Don't think they've dealt with HID before.

Man the Viper sounded too tame with the dB killer in there yesterday. I don't think they check sound levels, but didn't want to take the chance. Pulled the dB killer out as soon as I got home where it will sit until next inspection. LOL! I didn't put the little screw to hold it in there and the inspector kept revving it and I thought, man if the dB killer flies out that will suck. LOL!
Here's a pic of the Damask decals I mentioned a few posts back. I'm only about half way done. Still have the other side and a few little details to perfect. I tested the vinyl stickers with a little wash. They held up like a charm. It takes a good fingernail and some effort, but they peel off pretty decently if needed, so it's only permanent until I decide to change it up in a couple years. I'm in love with the turnout so far!

today, i opened up the air box, cleaned the filter and cut out the air box's bottom. i then gave my bike a good wash and wax, lubed the chain, took her out for a ride to test my front brakes and new tires then rode off to my dads for easter!.
