Weird Headlight Problem

I started my bike after visiting a friends place and when I started my bike and took off, my low beam was out. Turn on my high beam and its just fine, but the low beam was emitting no light. Good thing I was with a friend and she escorted me home. Any ideas seeing how it's a single bulb?

EDIT: daddyrack and Dart brought to my attention that the bulb is dual filament, which kinda slipped my mind.. feel free to make fun of me ;)

Aren't there two separate filaments in a bulb, one for high and one for low? The low filament is fried. You need to replace the bulb, that's it.

I have long since changed my headlight to an HID, but I am pretty sure the old bulb was a two filament bulb. I may still have it, can give it to you if you want!
