Used Value of 2009 FZ6R

So I am ready to dive into a bike again and have definitely decided on an FZ6R. I was on the fence about an FZ6 or FZ6R. I am going to be on the highway a ton so think I am going to benefit more from the full faring kit the 6R offers and lets face it the 6r is a sharp looking bike.

I did read the sticky up top regarding "what did you pay for your FZ6R". However the prices seem to be all over the place. I am not sure how much dealers move on bikes as it has been a long time since I was bike shopping. Do they go for NADA values? The're asking 6900 OTD for a brand new 09 Team Blue or Yellow, 7200 OTD for New 2010 Raven, 7400 OTD for New White 2010. I planned on using the leftovers as a bargaining chip Looking for some input from the community on how fair they think it is. The dealership is 2 min from my house if that plays a factor, which in my mind does.

I did read the sticky up top regarding "what did you pay for your FZ6R". However the prices seem to be all over the place. My question is the dealer has a 2009 Team Blue on the lot with 900miles. They are asking 4900, plus tax license fees. Do you all think that is a fair price? Was thinking of going 42-4300 originally. The NADA guide and Kelly Blue Book values are listed at 4800 as a starting point. I am not sure how much dealers move on bikes as it has been a long time since I was bike shopping. The problem is that they did have (2) 09 left overs and (3) 2010 left overs I planned on using as bargaining chip........however all have sold in the past week(guess gas and spring fever are hitting home. This leads me to believe they are not going to budge on that price of 4900. Looking for some input from the community on how fair they think it is. Honestly most dealers will move new bikes faster than used. It's a numbers game to them and they don't benefit as much on used stuff as they would new. So that being said you may be able to grab a new 09 for around 5-5500. Yes use as a bargaining tool and show up with prices form areas say up to 250 miles form your location as they will work on meeting that price. That's what I did. With the new bikes you will get your one year Yamaha warranty even with a new 09. If you don't care about it and feel that you can save the $$ going the used route then meet them in the middle. They are asking 4900 but they paid 3500-2500 on trade depending on how desperate the buyer/previous owner was or how much of a solid seller they are. I'd start at $4,000 and that the bank will only give you $3800. You might grab it for $4,200. who knows. I'd find someone to negotiate for you unless you do just fine yourself.
