I've started doing my winter mods, I've been fairly busy so I have not been able to give you guys much of of an Update. I'll post some pictures of what I did to achieve this Tomorrow.

Plasti Dip - Done
I Decided while I'm waiting on parts to come in I'd try out Plasti Dip. I used Blaze blue Dip, It's turning out better then I thought so I might order a Color mix Kit and Try to make a "Minty Fresh" or "Tiffany Blue".

-Driven Power up Kit 15-48 Black Sprocket Gold Chain - Need to install

- Goodridge Dual Brake Line Front - Need to install

- Front dropped 2 inches into tree- Done

- Install Roaring Toyz Lowering Link And Kick stand- Need to Install

I'll be ordering more parts in about two weeks and will add to the list as I order them.

First I tried using matte white out of a spray can. spraying was uneven and came out with a texture.

Buying Plasti Dip in the "Dip" and thinning it down works the best.

I bought a case of Plasti-Dip cans to paint my wife's fairings white. Same thing. Shot big chunks of plasti. Also, she has this hand me down yellow and silver swirl helmet. Even after 8 or 9 coats (following directions) I couldn't get more than about 60% coverage. I just painted the bike with white paint.

I think it's the temperature. This stuff (out of the spray can) seems to be really sensitive to the cold. Even a few degrees can go from alright to bad. Letting them sit in warm water helps. I would have gone to plasti gallons, but my air compressor won't flow enough for a paint gun and didn't want to invest in the expensive kit with the electric gun.

With that being said, you really make me want to buy the kit with the spray gun and do my bike in blaze orange now!!! Looks awesome!!!

MORE PICS!

You can get low volume guns to spray with. What's your max CF/M on your compressor? I had an issue with that on my compressor, got a cheap gun from harbor freight. I haven't gotten a chance to mess with it just yet though. I kind of want to give it a try to spray my bike's black panels with a another color. The rest is the kawi lime green but I would like to change the black up to something different. I haven't been able to decide what I want to change it to though.

Man that thing looks tough! I kinda like the flat finish of the plasti dip on it. With the front lowered, the cut down windscreen and the mirrors gone it makes it look really mean and sleek. Looks great!

Hello my real name is Adam.

I like the flat look for now but If end up changing the color I might play around with some glossifier and metalizers. I was almost worried that this would be to much blue while painting but the black trip really helped proportion it. The red stripes are staying ha ha, personally I think it makes the bike really pop off.

I just need to find the time to get my rear lowering link and kick stand on so i can get the front sitting as good as the back!

thanks everyone!

Brian

Yeah for some reason im diggin on the red wheel stripes and shock coil. Looks really good with the blue. Wouldnt think it would look that great but it does lol. Stick with what works i say. Sometimes you dont know what will end up looking good.

It's actually a yoshi r77 ( not positive if thats correct I'll check later) Do you have a video of your exhaust? I'll post one of mine here soon.
Looks like a Yoshi TRC and it looks awesome on your bike.

Do you have any vids? Is it attached to the stock headers and what bike was it originally made for? Any more info would be much appreciated.

Also nice job on the plasti dip. It came out real nice.

You correct, it's the TRC for the R6. I had it custom welded onto the stock header, I can also slip it on and off if I ever want to change to a different slip on. I doubt I ever will though. I'm working on getting a video soon, All i have are videos from my Gopro and they dont do it justice. I'll work on a video when the weather is nicer.
