Dang.. Some of the images that get posted up here.. Always good enough to make you laught when you are soo annoyed at work!
Been there done that! Life always get better because we learn what we do not like... thrust me! Single life is not that bad... it got some advantage. It just suck during the holidays... but until you meet the better right one.

Sounds like y'all have a lot to discuss and work out...
How long have you two been married? Coming up maybe on the 5-7 yr Itch or still getting used to being together and sharing everything?
My wife and I went through times like this where both of us felt like this towards eachother. It takes time and ALLOT of patience, but try to look at it from eachothers POSSIBLE pov's. It may not be disclosed but there really is some underlying issue about not being happy about the exhaust, I really dont think it is just the noise; though the p1/p1x might help a little against that scenario. Sounds like you are doing this, but please continue to vent on here or whatever and really think about it and give time before you vent to the wife. *getting the last word in, was a thing that we were taught before marriage and have found to be true, is NOT a good thing to try to get; things only escalate.
The last situation like this I had was when I purchased my bike with cash from my severence agreement from my prior job. When my wife got her severence she was very upset that she couldnt really use it for what she wanted. Instead she had to use some of it towards things that were needed at the time she got hers, and the rest in savings.
Good luck with this though, you both will get through this!

I'm running tipless, but my wife loves the bike and loves the exhaust. I have both a P1 and P1X, if you wanna grab the P1X from me I'll sell it at a reasonable price.
I think there is probably more to the issue than the exhaust, but if you constantly bend over backwards for her and do so much around the house, that's now expected and you should try stopping that. See how happy she is with that.

Well, little update. I got home from work last night and she was fine if nothing happened. I told her that I would take the bike this morning to work to see if my foot is good already. She said go ahead and didn't mention the exhaust at all.
My parents are at my house from brazil for a month on vacation, maybe she decided to play nice (until they go back) and hell will brake loose again, maybe somebody at her job talked some sense into her head, maybe she is planning a world dominance plan. Who knows.
By the way, rode the bike for the first time this morning after a month. WOW, is loud, but with my bluetooth helmet playing music while riding wasn't bad.
The response on the bike totally change. I'm using marthy's map (thank you canadian) and feels like a new bike. WOW.
(But the 0.99% finance with 0 down from ducati still bugging me) :banghead:

Good luck with everything at home! So sounds like aside from you have music to listen to, she did possibly have a valid complaint about noise.
I know everyone says stock is too quiet, but even with the stock exhaust I see people turning their heads from down the block when I come around corners. This is at only about 3-4k RMP.

Foot is not 100% but I'll say is 95%. Didn't have a problem riding at all, but I still can't run and early in the morning hearts a little after you wake up. Couple more weeks I'll be fine.
