Top & Side Pannier/Case Options

Hi All. New to the community & have owned an FZ6R for a little over a year.

I live in Caledon, Ontario... 20 minutes outside of Toronto.

I'm looking to deck my FZ6R out with luggage options. I've seen lots out there for less permanent solutions like tank bags & "strap on" bags, but I'm wondering if any of you know where I could purchase some good hard case side pannier/top case sets.

For racks, there are two options, SW-MOTECH and Givi. I believe the SW-MOTECH rack is for the same Givi V35 cases as the Givi rack. With the top case rack, it seems there is a more universal fit for cases.

FZ6R with Givi V35s

I have a black FZ6R and love it. I ride it all over eastern NC. I have installed the Givi racks with the V35 bags. Now I can take what I need and get more enjoyment from the bike.

Kappa

Kappa and Givi boxes and rack are interchangable
Givi probably slightly better quality
I have givi top box and kappa side cases

I was wondering if anyone has used the Yamaha-DBY-ACC56-23-71 "SHAD" top case mount. I cannot find photos of it. Any feedback and photos appreciated.

Rather than ammo cans, I may use plastic pistol cases. I will post up whatever I do. Sharing is Caring.
