No, from what I gathered from penndots regulations my exhaust is in compliance. It a Victory dealership, big Vtwins with loud exhausts. Mine is nothing in comparison to those beasts. Here's the part about exhaust:

(5) Inspect the exhaust system and reject if one or more of the following apply:
(i) The vehicle has no muffler or muffler has external repair.
(ii) There are loose or leaking joints.
(iii) There are holes, cracks or leaking seams in exhaust system.
(iv) There is a muffler cutout or similar device.
(v) Part of the exhaust system passes through the occupant compartment.
(vi) The elements are not securely fastened with proper clamps and hangers.
(vii) The exposed exhaust system does not have adequate heat shield or protective system or is not located to prevent contact with riders.

I think I meet those standards. There is a noise level requirement, but the measurement is taken a certain distance from the bike. Don't think they actually test at inspection. Not saying they won't though.

Talked to the shop today, FE and flushmounts are fine per their mechanic as. well as blacked out screen. Taking her on Friday for inspection.

You had me questioning my mods. LOL! I knew FE was iffy, but I never thought of the others as being problems. Seems I will be passed anyways. I say mod till your hearts desire and then find a shop that will pass you. I want my bike, my way.

No idea... but if they try to fail you... just take it off 6 screws done.. think mines due this month too, gotta check.

The inspector checked my bike as a courtesy before the actual inspection and he didn't want to pass my flush mounts. He said there was almost no visibility from the front. I tried to tell them (and even emailed copies) that PA doesn't require signals so why should poor visibility fail. They weren't gonna budge saying he didn't feel right passing it if something happened to me. He liked all the other mods and the bike in general. Said he really liked the FE. Thought I custom made it. LOL! I was planning on adding lights anyways because I secretly agree the front visibility sucks so I ordered ZX6R integrated mirrors. He'll pass it with those and if I really hate them will throw the zx6r carbon fiber mirrors back on. If I dislike them I will add lights in the cowls integrated into the turn signals. He'd also pass it that way.
