Techspec tank grips

i have them on my FZ6R and did my own cut-outs. look at my virtual garage and you'll see how i installed them. i just measured cut-outs and ordered sheets to do my R6 next.

my placement is not on the tank, but below the tank. some question how effective they are there. i'd say prolly not as effective as if on the tank itself. but, for me, i still do notice that they work. (i have the scuff marks on the inner knee/ thigh area of my leathers to prove it.) for me it was more about combining functionality & appearance, because i don't like the way it looks on the tank.

Did you get the general sport sheet or the one for the Fz6r and modify it?

i got a custom sized general sheet (snake skin) 7.5" x 16" , and then i measured the area under the tank by using a piece of paper and made a cut-out. at your request, i've traced it and uploaded the two pieces here. you'll need to print them separately and then line them up. the same one works for both sides. you just need to flip it over before tracing it onto the opposite side

the lines are not perfectly straight, because there is curvature. you'll need to just cut carefully to keep it smooth. the rubber material itself is very rigid, so you'll want to make long, smooth cuts. i have photos of how i did it on another thread.
