TBR P1 tip removal

My TBR with the P1 tip is a little too loud for long rides, so I ordered the P1X tip. The problem is that I don't know how to remove the old tip. It feels extremely solid as if it's bolted in place. I don't want to pound on it and break it. Any ideas?

If you took out all the allen bolts from the exhaust tip cover, the TBR tip will fall it. There are 6 allen bolts holding in the cover which holds the P1 tip in palce.

I took the bolts out and the magnesium cover came off, but the P1 tip was still stuck in there.

Mine was stuck in there too. I removed mine before installation by putting a long screwdriver in from the other end and tapping it out from behind. Since you cant do that maybe just tap it with a hammer and try and break the seal.

Got it removed with some fiddling and a few good smacks.

i took my tip right out... im tipless muahaha and mine came out fine all i did was take out the allen bolts and then the tip fell right off
