St. Cloud man thrown from motorcycle ticketed

A St. Cloud man was taken to St. Cloud
Hospital after losing control of his
motorcycle, crashing and becoming
trapped under a vehicle Friday.

Michael Elliott Hirsch, age 22, was riding north
on Fourth Avenue South just after 2 p.m.
Friday when he lost control of his vehicle,
according to a police report.

Hirsch was thrown from the motorcycle and
slid under a parked vehicle and became
trapped.

The St. Cloud Police Department, St. Cloud
Fire Department and Gold Gross
ambulance all assisted at the scene.

Hirsch was transported to St. Cloud
Hospital for injuries deemed not life-
threatening. Hirsch was also issued a
citation for careless driving.

I know it's crazy but you can get a ticket for getting in a solo accident. I've heard of a few guys who've had simple lowsides on roads like Palomar and they rush to get the hell out of there before a cop shows up and writes them up and add insult to injury.
