some EXTREME riding and Speeds thread

It wasn't me or condoning it but hey that's one long ass wheelie in Higher winds

So I don't get it CC...

You hang out with these guys but yet don't condone what they do nor does it seem like your partake.

Seems to me like you either need to put up (12 o'clock) or get a new crew of friends.

Just saying...

Hey guys ya don't have to be a dick to me I didn't film it okay look at the YouTube....not my account nor my bike but yeah no one ever thinks before they post. I Posted the video because it was the longest wheelie I have seen and it was my buddy doing it, I dot condone it on a busy highway in High wind. These are the same guys I go to the stunt lot with which is an abandoned parking lot. Can I controll their riding...NO...can I controll my own? Yep. Am I going to give up some of the best hearted friends I have ever had because you think they are the scum of the earth for doing a wheelie...not a chance

I think we should decide where we actually stand on wheelies as a motorcycling community, I mean we all think they are cool, and we even see youtube professional magazine review riders doing them on public roads.

My gut tells me that a quick wheelie with buddies on a deserted road is not 'wrong', but that doing extended 12'oclocks on a freeway with other cars is, no matter how cool it looks.

Everyone here likes Cautious, but he is part of a more stunter scene, and those are his friends, perhaps Cautious needs to just be a bit more careful about the appearance of condoning the behavior.

Anyway, let's not make this a Cautious bashing thread, and perhaps focus on the topic of wheelies, and not whether Cautious is condoning it, he just stated he does not, only perhaps giving a bit of thumbs up in the intial post, which can certainly be forgiven now that he has stated a retraction of sorts.

Let's keep it civil here. This is a very sensitive subject. A lot of people here will agree, stunting on the street = not a good idea. Don was referring to that, not riding spirited.

There is no difference in lives affected by it no matter how you spin the topic. Purely pointing out that whether u ride spirited or hit 12'clock if u go down not only is your life and your family effected but u could miscalculate a corner and smoke a car head on just as much as he could flip the bike all the way over and launch it into another car. Or the paramedics seeing u in either case...or your family dealing with your hospital recovery....both are dangerous and heavily assumed risks....where is the difference? I stated I DON'T condone the riding. By saying I do is just like saying when someone posts a crash video they can't wait till that happens to them, or the high speed videos that it's how they ride and think its okay.

When you can explain how they are of different principle and have different end results, then I'll close the thread and walk away with my tail between my legs. But that's not going to happen. All I said was to not be a dick to me for someone else's actions. But it was cool to see some of your reactions toward me that was great to see who some of you are.
