Ken's job

I'm an applications engineer for an aerospace company called Dytran Instruments, Inc. in Southern California. We make piezoelectric sensors for measuring dynamic acceleration, force, and pressure in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and research and development. Our sensors help keep the army helicopters flying to search and destroy the bad guys.

I am an Assistant General Manager for Sunny Street Cafe in Arnold, MO.
The corporation I work for (Sunny Street Cafe) is a relatively new one with 15 restaurants nationwide based in Colombus, OH It was founded about 5 years ago and is growing pretty fast. I started out as a line cook three years ago when our location opened and was promoted to Kitchen Manager, then to A.G.M. (I will be looking to attend school for psychology when my fiancee graduates in October...maybe Boise State University.)

Officially I'm retired (U.S. Army 1969-1989). I then spent 11 years as a city cop. Since then I have done several jobs to keep busy and to help put 2 daughters thru school (both went to private Christian school K-12, one's still there and one will be a college senior in the fall). As all of you know school in expensive. Fortunately the wife makes more than I so anything I make is supplemental. Currently I work security at an auto parts manufacturing plant (watch monitors all night). Only work 3 days a week so I have plenty of time to ride:) David
