Rear Turn Signal/License Plate Light issues

I am installing a fender eliminator kit on my bike. After removing my Stock Fender i tested the lights on the new fender, they all worked. After mounting the new fender and taping the wires together up until after it enters the bike. i cut the wires down to the correct size and then started to test them before i connected and taped them together. and now nothing works.....also my turn signals in the front, or the signal indicator on my dash will not work.

Looks like you blew a fuse; #4 I believe.

Depending on the FE Kit you got, the polarity of the wires might need to be changed around, or got mixed up in the first place.

i tried switching the wires as well, no luck.

Well, this might sound silly, but check the fuse regardless; if it blew when you first started it up after adding the new electricals.... you'd still have a blown fuse :thumbup:

Get yourself an Volt meter. I just did mine last week. It's a strait thing... Check the fuse first. I'll check out my wiring tomorrow and give you the info. I pretty much remove my stock fender, cut the harness and test it with my volt meter. It worked right away...
