I purchased a low mileage (4800 miles) 2009 FZ6R. I've put about 1000 miles on the bike now and have been thoroughly enjoying it! I've noticed that sometimes I get a weird situation during shifting where if I don't remember to forcefully and deliberately shift from first to second gear, I kind of get stuck in neutral and there's a repetitive clicking as I try to upshift into second gear with the clutch disengaged. For clarity, I can feel the clicking in the shifter and it clearly isn't good whatever is happening. This problem is typically exacerbated if the rpms are wound out (8-10k) in first. Am I an idiot and doing something wrong here? I haven't noticed this problem in any other shifting sequence and I'm assuming its related to the farther travel needed to go from first, through neutral, into second gear. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
