pls recommend winter gear

Thanks for finding this thread JT.I'm mainly curious if anyone else has tried these boots I ordered?The Alpinestar Ridge boot, I needed something waterproof in a 14 and they just caught my eye.

I ordered a cheap pair of gaiters off amazon.I've never tried a pair and thought they might be useful at times.

Most of my winter socks is work wear that I bought at Rural King.Carhart has a couple styles I like that are really warm, but hard to find in stock locally.Does anyone have any recomendations to look into online?

get a neck gaiter as well, they are great for keeping drafts out, I also gots a windstopper undershirt on order since all my jackets are perforated - and, yes, 50F is cold for a Texan, thank you

I'll have to look into neck gaiters and the underpants @ cyclegear.I ordered a new bacalva tonight, it doesn't look very warm but I like how it unzips.

Picked up my bacalva at Dicks last Spring... they had a big snow closeout.... doesnt do any good for this year... but just remember off season you can get killer deals.... since Dicks has snowmobile stuff, most of that works for bike too... at least the under layers
