Painting Windscreen Help

Ok I suck at spray painting. I bought some lens tint paint so I could do my windscreen tonight. Luckily I decided to practice on my OEM screen because I can't seem to be able to spray paint to save my life.

I need tips for making it smooth and even. Can you all lend me your spray painting wisdom? Lol

Paint the INSIDE of the screen. Tape off everything you dont want it on. Very light even coats from about 12-18 inches away. Let them dry before next coat.

Here's a tip that I heard while painting in cold weather, but it's helpful in most weather... warm up the cans. I took a pot of boiling water outside, once it just about stopped boiling I dropped in the cans. After a few minutes, dry, shake, and spray. It helps the paint atomize better giving you more of a mist instead of lots of tiny globs.

Oh, and if you're using VHT Nightshades, they HATE the cold. Future reference, so does Plasti-Dip (at least the colors, black might not be so bad).

Thanks guys. Appreciate the tips. The OEM screen came out so badly that I think I need more practice before I tackle my Puig screen. Lol

Ahh, I used peel and cling limo black tint just make a template and cut. A little soapy water and squeegee out the bubbles. Done. If u don't like, peel it off, but worked out well.
