Painted Handlebars

Anybody ever think of doing this? I never really liked the silver, especially on the ravens...Looks kinda out of place.

Here's a Photoshop of what it should look like....I think I like it. Glossy might look better...Or worse.

What do you think?

I have on order a black renthal road bar, which specs out close to stock. The first critique friends note is the handlebar. Even the bends look like plumbing. I was too cheap to change out the riser and get a fatbar like the newer bikes are coming out with. The handlebars and dinosaur swingarm, my peeves!

I've also been thinking about painting it or replacing it with an aftermarket solution. I love the flat black look. I've also been debating to paint the forks too

This guy painted his bars. I think they look real good and I want to do it myself but I've just been too lazy to take the grips and all the controls off.

Yeah I'm really considering doing this. Last time I changed the grips I thought about it. Just didn't have the time right then. But next time I get the urge I'll be doing it.
