So about a year ago i did a ton of research to find the lightest full face helmet on the planet for my Dad. He has a neck problem thats worse than mine. The weight of a full face helmet litterally is too much for his neck to be able to hold up. So he rides with a half helmet. Me being the gear nazi i am, i dont like that so i went on a quest to find him a light weight but still high quality helmet. I came accross the Nexx brand and was able to talk to the sales manager at the IMS show in Long Beach last year. We got him their full carbon fiber full face race helmet. It is the lightest helmet on the market currently. Unfortunately a year leter his neck has just gotten worse and even this helmet is too much. Hes only worn it 3 times and has decided he needs to sell it. Someone who could really use it can get a basically brand new helmet for a good deal. Theyre $600 brand new. Hes willing to take $400 shipped in the US. Has the original box and adjustable padding for a custom fit. Size is an XL but these run small. He usually wears a med to large in most brands. (my xl bell is huge on him, i can barely get the nexx on my head) only has the one clear shield with it. I will get some pics tonight and same links to the brand. I can tell you the quality feel of this helmet is second to none. Right up there the with highest end Bell Star, AGV, Arai, etc... To be honest, I'm kind of pissed that he's selling it because I put a lot of time and effort into finding this thing for him and he's not really giving it a whole lot of a chance. But, it's his neck and he says it's painful to wear it. If it fit my fat head I'd take it from him. lol.

Man that is a smoking hot helmet. That thing looks badass. I don't have the money for one, but someday. I have neck and back issues and would love something that light.

Another thing I'm actually thinking about selling are my Knox Handroid gloves. Size large. Only a few months old. They were pretty tight on my hands when I got them and just figured they'd break in. They have broken in a bit, but not as much as I thought they would, they're just a bit too small for me. Tomorrow I'm going to try and find the astars gloves I want so I can try them on. If they fit right, I'm going to pick them up and I'll put the handroids up for sale officially. Probably look for $100 for those. I'll keep this thread updated. Again, PM me if you're interested.

What kind of gloves are they?

I've been looking all over for the perfect gloves. Right now the one's I'm really looking for but having a hard time finding are the Alpinestars GP Pro. Specifically the ones in this pic. But I need to find any color locally just so I can try them on to make sure they fit.

I really don't want to get anything that doesn't have the SPS sliders in the heel of the palm. Only the top of the line gloves from every brand seem to have them.

I'm surprised your gloves didn't stretch that much, mine were crazy tight but now fit perfect after about 300 miles with them. i did to pull ups with them on which helped them form around my hand a lot better.

Btw have you considered Held for gloves?

I was very surprised too. Its mainly the outside edge, pinkey area. Just makes my hands ache after a long ride. I had a pair of Held Phantoms. They were nice but i like to try new things. Lol im a bit of a whore that way. I went to Cycle Gear. They had the right gloves, just wrong size. I was able to get a medium on but way too tight and the xl was way too big. But ive tried on gloves where i cant get a med on and the lg is too big. I dont want to assume and order a $230 pair of gloves and have them not fit then only be able to get credit for them on a return. Theres one more local shop im going to try tomorrow. If they dont have what im looking for i dont know what im going going to do. :banghead:

For the gloves, I went a head and ordered these RS Taichi GP-EVO gloves.

I had the GP-WRX gloves from RS Taichi in the past and loved them. Probably the most comfortable gloves I've ever had. But they didn't quite have as much protection as I wanted. These are the next step up. So once I get them and confirm they're fit, the Handroids will be available. So Far CC has first dibs on them
