My name is Robin I'm from McHenry Illinois but a native of Northwoods Wisconsin.:Sport::Sport:

I'm new to the site and bought my FZ6R a week ago. I learn to ride 4 years ago. I bought a 1982 Suzuki 450 to learn with. Now, I need something better to ride on highways and to keep up with everyone else. This seems like a great site and can't wait to check it out.

You're going to love your bike. In a word its "easy" Easy everything...on the wallet, insurance, back and wrists, in traffic, at the pumps, on the eyes etc...

The engine is bombproof. It takes anything you can throw at it. Change the oil early on and then at the manual recommends and the motor will outlive you I'm positive. I did 150km, 500km and 1000km oil changes and then every 5000km after that. The first one looked like black and silver paint and then the rest got better and better. Run the bike up and down the rev range during break-in at all throttle settings including full...you'll be happy getting it broke in right and cleaned out early...
