New Boots Shifter Problem

So got some new boots, AXO Aragon. (FYI if you have skinny flat feet like mine these are an awesome fit) They are track ready boots and are very much stiffer all around than the 3 year old A-Stars hi top moto shoes/boots I have been wearing. Yesterday I went for my first ride in the new boots and I couldn't shift worth a dam. 1st and 2nd were ok third most of the time but sometimes I just couldn't get it into a higher gear. Is it just a matter of getting used to them or is there an adjustment of some kind, either with the shift lever or where I am placing my foot? Any thoughts guys and gals?
Thx!

You can adjust the shifter if needed, but IMO the boots need to break in.

same issue I have as I wear steel toe work boots mon-fri and on weekends I wear joe rocket bike books and have to change the pressure on the shifter you just need to get used to the boots :canada:

I'm A dope. Used the search and there are many who have come before me! Some moved the shifter up some down. Guess I'll have to experiment.
