The lock and the alarm are independent. The alarm doesn't know if the lock is engaged or not. The part in the instructions about locking and unlocking a couple times "to wake the alarm up from sleep mode" has nothing to do with locking and unlocking, and everything to do with simply jiggling...

Did the Z2 Road Rider 2.0 course at Sonoma Raceway over Easter weekend (full album): Definitely recommend this as a $125 step II from the basic MSF course. Also a great way to get some cheap track time, without having to tape up your bike or being scared by the big kids whizzing by you...

I've always put pod filters on my bike, but it doesn't look like anyone is putting them on the FZ6R. Is there a reason why? I'm sure Marthy knows, as he's spent a lot of time tuning this bike.
