The BMW F800R is a great bike also like I said before I just want something faster then my FZ6R and comfy for long rides I'm lost on what to get I know everyone is going to say get what you want and like but I also want something different then a GSXR/NINJA/CBR that I see on every other corner

If you want an SS but have wrist or back issues, just get some bar risers such as Apex or Helli

My thoughts on new bikes, now I am in the market

Ninja 1000 great bike overall, I am not sold on the looks though
FZ1S fantastic, tried tested performer, IMHO not a standout as it is a little bland
SV1000S a little old, L twin thump appeal & full smexy smexy lust
VFR800 smaller performing sport tourer, but HEAVY 240kgs!

Wait & see I am yet to test ride all in 1 day yet

I feel ya on the looks, Kawi is putting out some aggressive looking bikes, but the Ninja 1000 does seem like the best non SS, gentlemans sportbike out there. Most owners seem really happy with it, but the insurance can be high.
