need some help deciding

ive got it down to two sets of pants both agv.
AGV Sport Willow Leather Pants - RevZilla

first off my riding is mostly commuting half being twisties half freeway. right now i have the agv sport willow leather pants, i have to say they are comfy, and offer a hell of a lot of protection for under $200, that being said i know they are more of a track pant, but really are super comfy on the bike. my only issue with these so far is i only wear half boots and these are meant to tuck into a full boot so i do look and feel a little funny with some sock showin.

my other option is the AGV Sport Telluride H2O Vented Pants

the pants look great and are cheaper, but im a little worried about the protection, definitely a downgrade as far as armor is concerned. the other thing that i like about these is they are an all weather pant were as leather is no-no in the rain. although i live in san diego and no we dont get much rain, it does get cold and foggy where im at.

or if you know something different for right around the same price let me know
any advice may or may not be appreciated

There's nothing wrong with wanting something friendlier to wear day to day.The Telluride h2o pants look pretty nice anyway, its not like your downgrading to jeans.

The biggest thing I dislike about the telluride pants is that they use a rain liner.It will rain on and off here alot some days, so I'm just more interested in a water proof shell instead of a liner.But I doubt that's as big of a concern where you live.

I'm leaning towards the Speed and Strength Urge Overkill pants, but I plan to go look at my options in person at Cycle Gear this spring instead of ordering online.So I'll keep the Tellurides in mind as well.

The telluride look like the pants me and most of my friends wear. Good brand, trusted construction, and a really good price considering. I wouldn't have a problem wearing them, think you should go for it.
