Aw, don't skimp on The Precious. Change the filter, too. Perhaps change it before 5,000 miles next time. You're not really going to damage things mixing those oils; however, if you're interested in giving yourself the best odds for having a long running machine, don't mix. The 2 producers may have very different ideas about what goes into their additive packages. If they're not the same, you're diluting out some of the additives.

I currently have Repsol 4T racing syntheric in my bike, and I'm at the end of my first 5K with my oil and filter. I plan to change oil and leave the filter on for the second 5K. I am switching to Mobile 1, either now or after the next change, and I have about a liter of Repsol in the bottle on my shelf. Question, should I go get enough Repsol for the oil change, or is it OK to mix the Repsol in the filter with the Mobile 1 I'm using for the oil change?
Damn, I thought this was a musical production question.

Sorry, can't help on this topic.

Stop!!!

Mixing does not sound like a good idea. Changing brands has it's down-side as well.
Check to make sure the Repsol oil won't contaminate the new oil.
Consider changing the filter and use the Repsol that you have.
In the mean time research Motorcycle Synth, and you will find out that Amsoil
outperforms all the rest.
They have great filters.
They will tell you that you can run their oil for 8K miles.

Slow, Look, Press, & Roll On The Throttle!

IMHO
