Michelin Road 5’s?

I need some new tires, the ones that came on my bike are old and somewhat worn with the typical flat apot down the middle. Also the previous owner put a 170 on the rear and I would prefer the thinner 160.

Thinking about Michelin Road 5’s. Has anyone tried these and do they wear well? I do a lot of just backroad cruising and commuting and am trying to get a longer lasting tire with good performance (aren’t we all). I’ve always used Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2 and 3’s in the past and they are awesome but wear very quickly.
Any other suggestions before I order this weekend? Thanks!

Road 5's are great. I'm running a set on my bike now. I've got about 5,000 miles on them so far and they still look almost new. They've got great grip, even in the rain.

Sweet! Been reading reviews on them and don’t think I’ve seen a bad review yet. Going to order a set this weekend!

Is this what I think it is?!? 46th month of 2007? And the guy I bought the bike off runs a motorcycle/powersports dealership. Def. ordering some Road 5’s today😞
