Marthy's Exhaust Specs

Posted it on General Forum but thought this is more suitable place?

Going to ship my stock exhaust today.. so I have it when the slip on gets in.. is there torque spec for

Header bolt/nuts
Bolt for the radiator bracket
Bolts near the back (by the muffler)

They all seemed "hand tight" when I took it off. Thanks!

LOL that's true.. it's open to anyone who's done exhaust swap though! haha (I'm adding onto his busy-ness "business" get it)

what you can do is find a Bolt thread file and see what size the threads are and thatll give you the maxium amount of torque you can apply to that bolt

wow, mine were #$##$ tight... had to spray them down with penetrating oil and let it sit... of course, mine had a few miles on them when I did the swap too... when money's freed up, I'm going to get someone to replace the studs for me... they've had a bit of abuse and I'd really like to be able to remove the exhaust for a yearly cleaning without worry of breaking a stud.

I can't remember the torque on top of my head. 14 ft.lb
