Lowering link

I picked up a 2009 6r that already had a lowering link installed on it because the previous owner was a short guy. I am 6 foot and don't think I need it to be short.

My question is if I am losing anything with it being shorter and being my height? Or does it only change the height of the bike and not handling or affect suspension.

I would remove the link if there is any disadvantages of having it. If not then I will leave it.

My understanding is that you WILL lose some of the handling capabilities. I don't know from experience though.

I have not notice any difference with my bike. I have the rear lowered at 1.75 (roaringtoyz) and front at 1.5

It does very little to the handling of the bike, but you can take it off and sell it and make a few bucks
