Liter bike upgrade?

Here's another analogy, imo:

Liter SS is like driving an American Muscle car in the veins of a V8 Camaro, Mustang...
600 SS is like a compact Japanese Sports car like a Subaru BRZ, Mazda RX-8...

Very different, but both fun and exciting in their unique ways.

All I can add to this threads input is this, I had an FZ6R for 3 years and it was my first bike. It was a great bike and I loved it but the time came to upgrade so I went and bought a Ducati 1098. The difference is unbelievable in how much performance I gained. My only regret is that I traded in the FZ6R instead of keeping it as a secondary bike. If you get the liter I say do it, but keep a slower secondary bike as sometimes not being able to use 6th gear till after 90mph gets annoying lol.
