LED head light conversion

looks like that bulb would only light up the top of the light reflective lens. maybe thats why you dont get as good a output.

Perhaps it's not ahead of it's time. After all the headlight I have is 15w which puts out 1500 lumens. Xeon is using 35-40w so I guess that could mean 3500-4000 lumens for a led/cree running at the same wattage. The main reason I got the led/cree was to not to have to deal with ballasts. The led/cree unit is also a sealed and waterproof unit.
