lag in throttle response?

W

whatever

i had to adjust my thottle play ... i adjusted it to about 2mm and the tension was to hard to pull on the spring.. so i adjusted it back out to 4 or 5mm and the twisting of the thottle is better now.

Has anyone else noticed a little lag in the throttle response? Maybe it's just going to take some getting used to, but it seems that when I roll on the throttle there is a definite noticeable lag, or drop/gap in engine response. Don't know if it's just my bike, or if it's a common problem. Anyone?
What kind of fuel are you running? I know most people say it doesn't matter, but many people I know run premium - especially during the break in period. Me, I ran premium and nothing but - never had the lag problem unless the bike wasn't warmed up (i.e. cold warning still on display).

I noticed it with shifting up through the gears.
Putting on the Power Commander V corrected it.
