You will be ok for a while, but you will need one eventually...I just bought the TBE carbon fiber, but I didn't buy the juice box.
Will there be any problems, if I don't have the juice box installed?
Thanks!
I second this.I had the same question myself last year, so I called Two Brother Racing and spoke to a technician there. They said that there would be no damage if I install a TBR exhaust without ever putting the Juice Box on. I have a TBR exhaust with the P1 power tip still in for my 2011 FZ6R and have had it on for about 20,000 miles without seeing any adverse effects. Like everyone else said, the block off plates are a must to eliminate popping.
While I agree it can be done it seems an expensive way to get better sound. I got a marthy viper and pcv for the cost of a tbe and imo it sounds and looks great. Plus the adv gear Rev b map and accel pump setting make it worthwhile. Better throttle response and an extra couple of horses. Still averaging 50mpg. Not trying to bag on our or anyone else that goes this route, just saying there are other options. It's especially true now that martin offers a DIY kit.I had the same question myself last year, so I called Two Brother Racing and spoke to a technician there.
