I have been hand washing and buffing my car a few times now and I have not noticed any warp / wavy spots yet but now that you mention that I will go look at it later for those symptoms. lol
Okay so update. I should be reciving my security system bypass today while I was waiting for that I decided to take my battery to get charged at pep boys just incase a low voltage case may happen because of multiple failed attemps to start have drained it. they told me the test says its bad! WTF just bought is a week ago. so they gave me a new one that may have been a big factor with my issues
From what we read, the new key is a good peace of mind for the price.

No its not..It doesn't take much IMO
Yamaha still struggles to get it right.I would have a 04 YFZ450, but they overcharged and melted the batteries in all of the reviews.So I waited a year, in 05 the system would only charge with the headlights on to draw away the extra current.
My 06 still eats a battery every year.I'm buying a kickstart conversion sometime when I have the spare cash.
Did you use a oem alternator or aftermarket?
it was in the car when the mechanica handed it over so I would just assume it was the original as he did not hit me up for a new one as he did for other parts
So after a few weeks of me pulling my hair!!!! it turned out to be the pickup coil inside of the distributor. I was so close but yet so far when I replaced the ingition module 1/4" away from the pick up coil I also had changed the distributor coil. i knew problem was there I just did not know enough about distributors and all of the parts that can be replaced
it was not the money. parts where pretty cheap what pissed me off was the frustration with the car not starting and not finding the problem for a week or two.Meh, it's only money.. RIGHT?
