Hey guys. As I mentioned before, this is my first bike and I plan on hanging on to it for a long time and doing as many mods as I can think of (that look good) and learn how to service her myself and take care of her.

So I wanted to start this threat with my first couple mods.

I also did my first oil change... I Was terrible. I spilled all over, the filter wrench didn't work, I did the hammer and screwdriver method wrong, I filled it up too much and drained too much after! lol. It was a... learning experience. But it's all good now, so here are the mods:

1. YAMAHA FZ6R Fender Eliminator Tail Tidy RED NTS I got on ebay.

2.Yamaha FZ6R Sequential LED Tail Lights Smoked (Integrated Turn Signals) From Motodynamic

3. And Shogun No Cut Frame Sliders (Black)

I think the next thing to come is the windscreen and that little diamond between that and the headlight. I wanna paint it a dark red and the bottom of the windscreen red and gradient it to black at the top. Just gotta figure out how.

Sweet start man... keep it going.... there are a ton of free or low cost mods... my advice make a mod wish list and attack a few at a time.

That's kinda what I did. Just not a completely detailed list.

I've actually had the urge a few times to call you specifically. I just never had all my questions in order.

The idea I have in my head was inspired by yours and FZWhite's mods.

Definitely always suggest HID Projectors...it's kinda what I do. Let me know if you are interested.

I haven't even gotten into HID yet. I'm trying to read your thread, but it's half a foreign language to me. haha

Really it comes down to the finished product. You have to see it to understand how cool it is. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Well it looks cool, so that's not lost on me. I'm just not sure what everything means. Pretty pictures though

I think that conversation would be better through an instant message type convo than on here. Maybe we can work that out sometime. But, at the moment, I don't got the money for something like HID yet.
