Installed a 190 rear.

It's measured bead to bead. The rim on your bike is 4.5 inches. THAT'S TOO NARROW FOR A 180. Don't mean to shout but no italics in the iPhone. :) Read earlier posts in this thread re: bead stress and tire profile. There's a reason engineers design things the way they do, and it's not because they don't want you to look cool. Trust me. I work in a performance tire shop. It's all I do and I know the subject inside out. The 180 might survive on that rim, but it isn't designed to. That means there is a much higher chance of trouble, and tire trouble is the last thing you want on a bike. If you want the wide rear tire look, get a wider rim, or better yet, a bike designed to run a huge tire
