Because rain in Florida isn't "rain". It's a torrential, monsoonal downpour that dumps 2" of rain in about 5 minutes. It also usually has lightning associated with it, and visibility is about 10'. Not fun at all.why cant you ride in rain?

Yep, flat, straight roads too. Believe it or not, it actually does get somewhat cold in Northern Florida; down into the 20's sometimes.
