For being such a cautious motorcyclist, I've done some really dumb stuff on scooters. Of course, mine weren't "Oh no I don't know how to ride," more like "I'm gonna scrape muffler on this corner so the sparks will scare the guy behind me"

If you ever were in Europe (especially Italy) you had to see that scooter is a main source of transportation. In the morning you'll see women dressed in light open summer dresses and high hills, wearing open helmet, ride scooters to work. Men dressed in suites, jeans or shorts. They shoot between cars in the morning traffic, and it's all acceptable. Just a way of life.

Yikes. Needs to take an msf and also learn a thing or two about gear. Her head may be ok but her arms, legs and feet will sure hurt.. Then also that is a good way to remove that ankle tatoo rather than paying for a less painful removal.
